What’s it like moving up with Excel?
We want to make sure our employees learn skills that can benefit them inside and outside of the gym. We are constantly growing so there are always opportunities to grow in our company.
Where are your clubs located?
We have over 140 clubs in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and Utah.
How does moving up with Excel Fitness work?
If you're seeking to move up within Excel Fitness, you'll be pleased to know that we focus on growth and development inside and outside the gym. We pride ourselves in hiring within and are constantly growing (We're averaging at 10 new clubs a year!), so there's always an opportunity to grow with us.
What is the difference between Excel Fitness and Planet Fitness?
Excel Fitness is an independently owned and operated Planet Fitness franchisee with clubs in TX, NC, OK, AR, VA, MO, UT, GA, TN. Our back office is located in Austin, Texas, but we have regional positions and club-level positions across the US.
How old do I have to be to work for Excel?
You have to be at least 18 to be employed with us.

Excel Fitness offers several different benefits packages. Some benefits included with employment are MyFlexPay, a financial wellness benefit that allows employees to receive their checks early. Every Team Player receives a free Planet Fitness Black Card Membership and a +1, giving them the ability to give a free Black Card membership to anyone of their choosing. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) gives you free and confidential access to counseling resources, and Paid Time Off (PTO),Wellness Days, Paid Parental Leave, Health Insurance Benefits, and a 401k plan are offered to all eligible Team Players.
